Dinosaur Designs’ new collection, Flamingo, is a joyous exploration of the playful world of pink. Designed by Louise Olsen and Stephen Ormandy and handmade in the Dinosaur Designs studio in Sydney, the Flamingo collection features a range of muted, tonal and bright pinks balanced with pops of coral.

Often considered the world’s oldest colour - traces of pink pigments have been found in billion-year- old stone - pink has entwined human stories and art throughout history.

For Dinosaur Designs, Flamingo is a celebration of the iconic hue’s long tradition and seemingly endless variations. As with every collection, the palette for Flamingo was created by hand in their studio blending and experimenting to achieve a range of shades unique to Dinosaur Designs. The result is a warm spectrum of pink and coral hues, featuring neon pink Parakeet, bright orange Lychee and a more muted Coral Swirl, paired with classic tones of Flamingo, Rose Swirl and solid Coral Pop.

The homewares of the Flamingo collection explore these shades of pink and splashes of coral across jugs, cups, platters and plates, wrought in the organic shapes and forms that have become synonymous with Dinosaur Designs.

The new and generously-proportioned Grand Pebble Vase works seamlessly with a curation of classic Rock, Stone and Temple Vase shapes. In addition, the Rock Bowl set returns with two new sizes; the Rock Dish, perfect for holding salts and spice, and the Rock Tray, designed for both serving food and displaying treasures.

Flamingo jewels make bold, beautiful statements. Boulder and Rock Bangles create joyful stacks while Rock Cluster Pendants, Riverstone Chokers and Boulder Rock Necklaces layer to create dimensions of colour. Brass River Rock Earrings and Horn Rings hero the strong palette with a high-polished finish that adds a touch of luxury to the hand-poured resin.
